Load King LK25T-CS Rigid Gooseneck Trailer
Load King manufactures the Crown Series, rigid goosenecks that can carry from 25 tons all the way up to 50 tons. The LK25T CS is a 25-ton Crown Series trailer with an overall length of 38′ 2″ and a 32.5″ unloaded deck height. The rigid gooseneck is equipped with (2) 22,500 lb axles.
ACCURATE PAYLOAD CAPACITY
Load King rates their trailers at actual payload capacity where others rate their trailer at payload plus empty weight which provides a payload capacity less than the rated capacity.
DECK HEIGHT
The Load King 32 1/2” deck height is one of the lowest In the industry. With a lower deck height the load angle Is reduced al lowing for safer and easier loading and un loading of equipment.
CROSSMEMBERS
Load King equips all Crown Series trailers with 10” Wide Flange, High Tensile I -beams for maximum strength.
ADVANCED BRAKING SYSTEM
All trailers are standard with 12 1/4” x 7 1/2” air brakes, with ABS (2S 1M), automatic Slack Adjusters, and Spring Brake chambers on all wheels. Outboard mount drums are installed for ease of maintenance. The hubs do not have to be removed or have the seals replaced when performing a brake replacement.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The modular wiring harness is PVC jacketed and allows for easy repair by simply plugging in the replacement part. Long lasting LED lights are flush mounted in rubber grommets and are protected with a sealed beam.
SUSPENSION & TRUE TRACK ALIGNMENT
H-9700 Multi-point Suspension equalizers distribute the load evenly between the axles. Over 44,000 lbs. of total spring capacity on all dual tandem trailers prevent complete spring deflection under extreme conditions. In addition, adjustable torque arms maintain the axle alignment and allows for easier maintenance.
MAIN BEAMS
Heavy duty 16” deep High Tensile I-beams are used for strength and durability.
SIDE RAIL
Load King uses 12” channel side rail construction, providing a greater structural integrity of the main frame.
SPRING ASSISTED RAMPS
Spring assisted ramps are a standard feature on all CS models for ease of lifting and safer ramp handling.
RAMP OPTIONS
To better accommodate the equipment being loaded, the options of steel traction paths or wood-filled ramps are available. Steel traction is best suited for rubber tired equipment and aggressive grouser track machines. Wood-filled ramps are better for steel flat track machines, rollers, and less aggressive grouser tracks .
CHAIN TRAY
We provide a chain tray between main beams in neck. This feature is ideal for storage of chains, binders, and small tools.
AXLES & TIRES
A structural network. consisting of braces extending throughout the unit regulates twisting and flexing. Rear horizontal braces in conjunction with the subframe and extra deep cross headers, control flexing created at the push block. Front and rear diagonal braces control transverse movement adding structural integrity to the upper hopper.
